UPDATES |
9/30/2013: I no longer play Kirigiri at Entranceway, but this entry will be left unlocked for those players who still want their characters to make use of her database in its original form. |
OOC CONSIDERATIONS |
These are Kirigiri's personal notes. All of the information here is included in the database she's created with everyone's help, with the exceptions of the notes in italics. Those appear only in the hand written version she keeps. Kirigiri does her best to keep the database updated concerning new events and various residents in the Mansion. She redistributes hard copies of the database once a month to those who have expressed an interest in having one. She will not transmit the database over the network or upload it to the network for general access. The copies she distributes are stored on flash drives and are read-only. |

OCCUPANTS |
Hope's Peak classmates
Others
• Annie May be a little obsessive-compulsive? Very helpful and more cheerful than I'm used to. Jewish. Returned home for a period of six months in her world; one week passed in Wonderland during her absence and she retained her memory of Wonderland. • Crowley Seems helpful in gathering information. • Dean Winchester Inquisitive, but seems to be more capable of physical feats than mental ones. Collected valuable information for the database from him. Returned home for an undetermined amount of time; one week passed in Wonderland during his absence and he retained his memory of Wonderland; significant events occurred during his time at home. • Elsword He seems overconfident, but is skilled with magic. • George A somewhat sarcastic woman. She may have helpful information regarding past events, as she seems to have been here for some time. • Matthew Maule Good to talk to about theories. Seems interested in figuring out how Wonderland works. • Meg Annoying. Smug. Does not like young people (?). Unfazed by serious injuries to her extremities; may be capable of accelerated healing or unable to feel pain (may not be human?) • Mordecai Heller A large, bipedal cat. From the early 20th century. Worth getting to know better. • Sephiroth Seems different from his last time here. Is very logical. Should be helpful in identifying patterns in data. • Shannon Beiste A fairly normal woman. Helpful when asked for information. Has been here for some time. • Yousuke Hanamura Has been in Wonderland for sometime. Appears helpful, but may too easily discard information or opportunities that would be useful. |
WONDERLAND |
Closets
Mirrors Counterparts are referred to as "Mirror people".
• Tried writing messages to reported Mirror self. So far no response to three messages left on bathroom mirror, two left on main mirror in bedroom proper, seven messages left on randomly selected mirrors in the corridor outside of bedroom. Information retrieved from the notes of Dean Winchester: • Mirror people can "cross over" to this side of the mirrors Related point: When Mirror people cross over, they switch places with their counterparts. Mirrors return to their side when they see their reflections. Possible safeguard? • Mirror side of mansion is identical to this side, but inverted. Exception: Space analogous to the ballroom is a throne room instead. • Mirror side has a communication network comparable to the one on this side. Fujisaki has temporarily set up a way to access the network on the mirror side. Have obtained a copy of the archive. • Mirror people are inverted versions of the originals as well. Opposites? In all ways? Will investigate further. Point worth investigating: Is there any control to how the mirror people are "flipped"? Does the force creating them exert control over changing how those traits are expressed in order to serve its own ends? • Mirror people like to watch the people on this side. Over-generalization. Will investigate further. • Mirror people may impersonate the original version. Reasons may vary. • "If you kill it on their side it stays dead longer." ????? • Writing on the mirrors is the only way to communicate from that side to this side. Sound from this side can be heard on that side. • The Queen of Hearts leads the Mirror people and is located on the Mirror side. Related to throne room, no doubt. Does she ever appear on this side? Related point: The Queen disappeared once and Alice took over. Does Wonderland need a ruler? Where did the Queen go? Why did she come back? • Mirror people can reach through the mirrors and take things to their side without crossing over and swapping places. Must test this. Natives Announce events. Are they aware this is what they're doing? Is it coincidence that events follow their messages by several days?
• The Cat The Cheshire Cat? Will appear if fed. • The Mock Turtle Writes in code. • The Queen of Hearts Caution required. No accounts of her are positive. • The Chess Pieces Deceased? • The Red Queen Newly appeared. May or may not be an ally. Bears the "vorpal shield". May have been dead until now. Related to the chess pieces? Return
• People who return in this manner seem to undergo some significant events at home, returning after emotionally trying times. This is not always the case, but seems to be common. • Approximately one week passes in Wonderland during the person's absence, though time spent at home varies person by person. |
EVENTS |
Notes
• Memories with strong emotional value seem to be the basis for all or most events. Example: The poison event took place in a hospital. Hospitals are "emotionally trying locations". Related point: Certain settings may be more common than others, especially hospitals and schools. • Events may be the basis for which Wonderland chooses its victims; "only people with these kinds of extraordinary stories are brought here". Related point: The order and type of events may be influenced by the people present, not only the person whose memory is used. (Example: If a majority of current residents come from bleak situations or worlds, events may be geared more toward those emotions or situations.) Possibilities Possible events based on personal experience and my world; plans for how to deal with such events, if they occur.
Plan of action: Disseminate as much information about the school rules as possible. Make sure no one is isolated to avoid unnecessary deaths. Obstacle: Will an event be able to manifest Monobear? Memory-Based Events Events based on the memories of those residing here.
Date: Uncertain, esimated late January Belonging to: Amaterasu [No longer present] Details: Not personally present. Per Beiste, several people were replaced with fox demons and caused mayhem. Working name: Pollution event Fujisaki described this event during the poison event. Date: Uncertain, estimated early to mid-February (per Fujisaki, a "few weeks" prior to the poison event) Belonging to: Unknown Details: Not personally present. Per Fujisaki, vegetation died, air polluted, water polluted, power did not work. Required use of gas masks and consumption of pre-packaged foods. [ Important During explanation, Fujisaki made a good point: people may not admit ownership if a memory causes others harm or discomfort. Use caution when questioning residents about events. ] Working name: Poison event Date: Early March? Try to ascertain the exact date, when the chance arises. Belonging to: Alan (surname unknown) Details: Per Alan, bright green poison was created by a "French guy"; Alan can cure via surgery (How???); no other known cure or antidote. Personal investigation yielded the following: • The building has taken on the appearance of a hospital, but one that has not been used or maintained in some time. (Apparently a location Alan is familiar with???) • Every floor is approximately the same in layout with the exception of the first floor, where there is a waiting area, records office, and cafeteria in place of the normal public spaces. • The closets appear to work properly, with the exception of an abnormal number of apparently used syringes being supplied unasked for. • The kitchen also seems to work, but the food and drinks aren't necessarily safe. • There may be traps set up throughout the building to introduce the poison into peoples' systems. (Per experiences of Fujisaki and Eleanor.) • The poison causes multiple organ failure. (Per Fujisaki.) • The poison can be absorbed through the skin as well as ingested and introduced by injection. (Reason for syringes and broken glass throughout the building???) Working name: Date: Mid-March (The first day was a Sunday, I think) Belonging to: Unknown Details: Personal experience: • On the first day, approximately 2,030 packages of instant ramen fell from the sky and hit me within a fifteen minute period. • Subsequent days saw objects of increasing size falling with increasing velocity. • On the second day, a billboard advertising Maruchan ramen hit the tea room I had just vacated. • On the third day, what appeared to be a single cup of instant noodles created a crater approximately two meeters in diameter when it hit the ground near me. • There was not much to be investigated regarding this event. Its origin was not discovered or shared. Try to devise a way to discreetly discover an event's origin. Working name: Agnosia event Date: Late March (narrowed down to 29th or 30th) Belonging to: Unknown Details: Personal experience: • Sense of smell was altered; verified at least one other person (Aerith) suffered the same. All things smelled unpleasant; most things smelled putrid or rotten. • Tested blocking smells with limited success. • Tested replacement smells with limited success. Time constraints made it difficult to find any spoiled or rotten food stuffs to use. On first day, obtained over ripe tomatoes and left them out. By the third day, they smelled faintly pleasant. Waking up the day after the event, they smelled like spoiled tomatoes. • Others had other experiences. Notably, Fujisaki experienced an altered sense of hearing. Did not conduct a wide survey, but can infer that one of the five main senses were affected for each resident. Working name: Truffula event Date: April 12-15 Belonging to: A man in a pink scarf or a fuzzy orange thing I need to talk to more people and learn their names. Details: Personally observed the following: • Several animal species unknown to me. Appear to be small, playful bears, fish that hum and walk on land, and some kind of birds. • Trees were soft to the touch and smell pleasant. • A central clearing housed one tent per resident. • Tents were not personalized like the rooms in the mansion, but mine contained a closet that functioned as the closets normally do. Inferred that all tents were outfitted thusly. • Concluded that there appeared to be no ill effects of this event. • Swam in a river. Gloves held up well to water. Working name: Metaphor event Date: May 18-20 Belonging to: Unknown Details: Everyone seemed forced to speak in metaphors, most of which made little sense to others. There seemed to be no specific pattern that all followed: some used creative profanity, others non-sequiters, and still others rhymes or verse. Working name: Experiment event Date: May 31-June 3 Belonging to: Unknown Details: All people in residence seemed to be affected differently. Regardless of outcome, all seemed pushed to do things they would otherwise not do along the lines of experimentation of various types without regard for personal safety or the wellbeing of others. Personal experience: Recorded observations and major events from my entire life, leading up to my appearance in Wonderland. Realized that the gaps in my memories are more significant than previously suspected. Will pursue this. Working name: Shadow event Date: June 14-17 Belonging to: Details: Each person was followed by a being called a "shadow". Shadows looked identical to the individual and represented a hidden or repressed part of the individual's personality. Personal experience: My Shadow was fairly quiet, but would not stop talking about the importance of the truth. She was very enthusiastic. Behavior may have been affected by my memory loss; shadow might have had other traits if my memory were intact. Working name: Trope event Date: June 29-July 2 Belonging to: Dean Winchester or someone from his world Self-identified. Details: Residents became entrapped in scenes in which each was expected to act out a specific role. Refusal to cooperate incited displeasure and possibly violence (not personally observed or experienced) from manufactured characters within the scene ("manufactured people" do not correspond to actual people residing in Wonderland). Once the scene was carried out, it dissolved and residents could go about their business. Personal experience: Several small scenes. Primarily, was trapped in a scene with Aerith, Honda, and Annie, as magical girls masquerading as members of a pop idol group. Gave a My name was Ivory Truth Collector Kirigiri. Powers included: Shearing Mist Meditation Fog Horn Blasting Mind Assault True Omni Foggy Memory Bladed Reaction I feel that these skill names may be related to my lost memories. Working name: Truth event Date: June 20-22 Belonging to: Unknown Details: Experienced by the Mirror people on June 20-21 and by real people on June 22. All people were forced to speak the truth at all times and compelled to share things they might otherwise have kept to themselves. Working name: Hell hound event Date: August 3-5 Belonging to: Unknown Details: Creatures called hell hounds were loosed in the Mansion. They were invisible to all but a few residents and chased their prey relentlessly. Wandering around the Mansion was difficult and dangerous, but the hounds were loud and graceless, and therefore somewhat easy to avoid. Personal experience: I died. Working name: Alternate memories event Date: August 16-19 Belonging to: Unknown Details: All residents experienced altered memories based around a single point in their lives. At that point, they chose to do something different than what they had done in fact. All memories from that point forward, including some memories of interactions in Wonderland (in some cases), were altered to match the altered decision that was made. Personal experience: I believed I had never chosen to attend Hope's Peak Academy. I was a detective and my father was the headmaster at the Academy. Some significant, world-altering events took place and I watched Monobear's broadcast of the events that unfolded at Hope's Peak among my class. I believe these altered memories are strongly related to the memories I am missing. A detective fits my capabilities, but I wonder at the memories related to my father. Special Events Events apparently unrelated to the people residing here. They seem to involve Wonderland itself and its residents.
Date: April 28-May 5 Details: • April 28: A door appeared in the entrance hall with a riddle or verse inscribed on it, as well as eight spaces below. The purpose seemed to be for those residing here to solve a riddle and enter it. • April 29: Spectral chess pieces appeared. Based on reports, they were largely unresponsive to people around them, only seeming to respond unawares, in code. They interacted with each other, but were incorporeal. They replayed scenes on a loop before disappearing. They remained in and around the Mansion throughout the week. • May 1: A monster emerged from the door. Giant, like a cross between a bear and a panther. It was a bandersnatch (see poem "The Jabberwocky"). Difficult to kill; revived within the hour after being killed. • Discovered it is incorrect guesses made at the door that cause the emerging of the monster. • May 3: Another monster emerged from the door. A large bird with no legs. It was the jubjub bird (see "The Jabberwocky"). Difficult to kill and revived in the same manner as the bandersnatch. • May 5: The monsters disappeared. A woman with a shield (the "vorpal shield"; related to the vorpal sword in "The Jabberwocky"?) emerged from behind the door and the door disappeared. The woman is the Red Queen, apparently in charge of the red chess pieces that had appeared. She may have been dead or in some kind of stasis behind the door. Where was the door until now? • The Red Queen seems to be intending to stay in Wonderland. The chess pieces vanished with her waking. The verse: I'm here, forgotten and alone, But I'll again ascend my throne. Unlock my body, free my mind; Search out the treasure I've enshrined. Hear these fragments to advance; Take a breath and take a chance. But beware, don't answer wrong! You'll feel regret your whole life long. The solution: R E D Q U E E N Working name: Chess match Date: July 15-21 Details: • July 11: The Queen of Hearts challenged the Red Queen to a chess match. The victor would gain both the Vorpal Sword and the Vorpal Shield. (Note: The Vorpal Sword is the ultimate weapon and the Vorpal Shield is the ultimate shield.) The Queen of Hearts threatened war if the Red Queen declined. The Red Queen accepted. • July 15: A human chess match was played out by the two queens. 16 Mirror people and 16 real people stood in for chess pieces. All other mirror and real people acted as spectators. The Queen of Hearts won. She gave the mirror people a vacation on the real side of the Mansion. All real people ended up on the mirror side of the Mansion. • July 15-20: All real people remained on the mirror side of the Mansion. All Mirror people remained on the real side of the Mansion. • July 19: The Dormouse announced an event. • July 20-22: Mirror people experienced an event for the first time. They were forced to speak the truth at all times. • July 22: Mirror people were called back to their side of the glass. Real people switched sides with them and unexpectedly experienced the last day of the event. • Fujisaki's Mirror stole a copy of the database. |
